Method:

1. Configured and installed Google Analytics to the KealyLaw.com website. This allows you to track visitors to your website and learn about your audience.
2. Setup a Google Search Console. This helps you to review how your website is performing within the Google search results.
3. Created a high-quality Google My Business profile which gave immediate authenticity for Mr. Kealy’s law practice in the Google estate planning attorney category.
4. Identified relevant keywords and modified his website page content with relevant URLs, headings and other wording based on keywords that would confirm to Google that Mr. Kealy’s legal services can provide a match of common search queries.
5. Listed Mr. Kealy’s name, address, phone number and URL (known as NAPU) on authoritative local sites which reaffirms to Google that Mr. Kealy is a practicing attorney located in Palatine, Illinois. This method is called Citation Building.
6. Identified Mr. Kealy’s strongest local competitor and analyzed their website for their SEO strategy to determine their strengths and weaknesses in keyword ranking. Exploited their keyword weaknesses to understand what must be done to compete against their strengths and implemented a strategy to rank higher.
7. Implemented ‘structured data’. Structured data is a set of markup tags added to a website which helps search engines understand pieces of information on web pages.
8. Obtained links back to the Kealy Law website from other quality websites.
9. Encouraged Mr. Kealy to obtain authentic reviews from past clients and affiliates that work with Mr. Kealy.
10. Monitored search engine ranking results periodically and determine reasons for a lower ranking and modified our SEO strategy to improve rank. It could take six months to one year before these methods are fully working and results are apparent. Patience is important in SEO efforts.

The Challenge:   Since Mr. Kealy is competing with prominent local law firms offering similar legal services and established in Palatine, Illinois for much longer than Mr. Kealy the challenge is to use SEO to give Mr. Kealy as much authority as possible in those law fields so he will rank high in the search engine results page. It has been a little over a year since we implemented SEO and through steady work on Mr. Kealy’s part in building reviews, today Mr. Kealy seeing good results for local searches and he has acquired new business through organic search engine results.
