Summary:  I’m a guy and I know one thing for sure. Women have a fascination with shoes. Women just love shoes, you know this for sure because they just can’t stop buying them. Does anybody know a woman with just a few pairs of shoes in their closet? Chances are their closets will never be large enough for all their shoes. Light bulb blinking in head! Yes, chocolate shoes, how ingenious! Women not only adorn their feet with shoes, they adore chocolate as well. What a connection! It’s a well known fact that approximately 70% of all buyers coming into the store are women. It’s no surprise that on the first display table when they walk in the store are the chocolate shoes. So when the local Talbots which is just a few miles down the road invited us into their store for a day, it was a no-brainer and a perfect opportunity to display our chocolate shoes and have a captive audience that was all women. It was a nice collaborative event offering excellent exposure for Morkes Chocolates and a nice way for Talbots to treat their customers to some chocolate while they were shopping. Customers were pleasantly surprised to see the chocolate shoes in the display case and did not hesitate to indulge in some of Morkes’ all natural chocolate.

Morkes Chocolates may not be the only chocolatier selling chocolate fashion shoes but they probably are the only company selling them in a variety of sizes and a multitude of hand crafted designs.
