Company:  Morkes Chocolates

Summary:  The name of the company is Morkes Chocolates. It’s interesting how many people mispronounce Morkes. Perhaps more people mispronounce Morkes than those who get it right. Some people say it's 'Morks' like in 'Mork & Mindy'. The correct pronunciation is 'More - kiss'. Webster’s Dictionary would probably write it like this: Môr’ - kĭs. Either way phonetically it ends with a kiss, how sweet is that! Company owner, Rhonda Morkes Dehn had a clever idea to make a promotional YouTube video which plays on the correct pronunciation of the name. Rhonda wrote the script, casted a couple of friends who she thought would be good for their parts and had her comedic husband Mark complete the cast. I was the videographer, director and editor. It took nine takes and a whole Sunday afternoon. This was my first real video production and it was an excellent lesson on many levels. In a fun way it clarifies the correct way to say Morkes and brands the name with the fine delicious chocolate that Morkes Chocolates offers.
